Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked great on the first half of the project. It worked great on the first half of the project.. When i needed to complete the project it began clogging (yes i was using thinned paint) it would stop spraying paint and air just came out.. then all of the sudden a lot of paint would come out. HUGE MESS! Paint sprayed on the piece and floor.. I took the entire thing apart cleaned it and checked all the seals (yes they're intact) put it back together and the only way i can get paint to come out is to hold my hand over the end (sprayer part) until it eventually comes out in my hand then begin spraying my piece. Total mess.. and the finish isn't great. Going to sand it down and buy a new sprayer and start over. I would recommend this product as a one time use product or disposable. Plan on throwing it away after about 5 hours worth of use..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little sprayer! We've had this for about a year and it's worked wonderfully. It's been on the shelf for about two months now and while putting it together to do another batch of bookends, I find that I can't get the connecting nut to screw on. It seems as if the sprayer has shrunk or the nut has gotten bigger. It simply goes right over the sprayer threads and won't thread at all. It's like it's 1/16th of an inch too large now. Everything else fits fine and all of the parts are there. Any thoughts?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Alot of work! I have a headboard I am train to paint using the Wagner home decor paint sprayer. I could’ve painted this by hand five times by now because this machine continually clogs. I have taken it apart multiple times can’t find any reason why it doesn’t work it just won’t spray the paint. I have tried everything it says in the manual and it still does not work properly . I have never been so frustrated and wasted so much time on a product that was supposed to decrease the time needed to paint the project. What a waste of $80 ..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used 1 time!! Absolutely love my results but after I cleaned it I have lost the seal for the inside and now it only pushes out air and a lot of paint and I don’t see where to purchase this piece?? Any advice???

Rated 2 out of 5 by from fast but not a great finish The finish this thing provides looks more like a roller than a sprayer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish it would work better as advertised I tried using it a dozen times or so with my chalk type paints. It seems to me you have to water down paint so it would spray for one. Which makes using chalk paint less effective in my opinion. I love chalk paint as it's thick, and fills in scratches etc on whatever your painting. So needing to water down to use the sprayer defeats the purpose of chalk paint! I played with the adjustable nozzle trying to get a good finish. I tried to love it but just kept clogging, or splattered finish. I've cleaned it properly, and made sure to follow steps. Not happy....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am a do-it yourself craft kind of girl I purchased the sprayer 2 weeks ago and painted 20 kitchen doors in less than 1 hour... They really look great. I will never paint furniture or cabinets with a paint brush or a roller again. OMG LOVE this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eady to use I love this sprayer it's so easy to use. Works great and easy clean up. I've had it about 1 1/2 years now. I've even sprayed my daughters exterior rock on her house with it. Fun to use. I just want to paint everyday with it.

I want to paint some small projects. How strong is the air pressure? Can I adjust the pressure so that I don’t blow my projects off the table?

Asked by: Demnis123
Thank you for the inquiry. The air pressure is around 1 psi and you can't adjust the air pressure. You can adjust the material flow. This video will help you with the air pressure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SvgmV9l3yM. Please give us a call at 1-800-328-8251 and we will able to assist you.

I saw in the manual that you have to replace the filter from time to time. do I unscrew something, or do I just pull it through the slots on either side?

Asked by: Ross
Yes, the 0529013 front end assembly will work with that sprayer no problem. Thanks for your inquiry! You can also call us at 800-328-8251 for further help if needed.

Why does my Home Decor sprayer always spray, even when I am not pushing the trigger? I have tried all settings, cleaned nozzle, used different paints. Every time it does it. Help!

Asked by: Em13
Most likely because the retaining ring on the front of the sprayer is loose. When it's loose, it allows the nozzle to move away from the needle, breaking the seal, and paint pours (streams) out of the spray gun. Tighten it that extra little bit and the problem should go away. If not, call us at 800-328-8251.

Will this sprayer spray viscous paints with grit in them?

Asked by: Kath
We don't suggest the use of any paint with grit in it with any of our sprayers as it will cause premature wear and tear and may void the warranty. Latex paint may need thinning up to 20%, chalk paint may require 40%, but most crafting finishes will spray without thinning. For more tips call us at 800-328-8251.
