Wagner SprayTech Modernizing North American Headquarters in Plymouth with $10 Million Remodel

MINNEAPOLIS — August 16, 2017 — Wagner SprayTech, a market leader in advanced paint applicators and tools, is giving its North American headquarters in Plymouth, Minn. a major facelift with a $10 million remodel. Wagner officially celebrated the project with a ground breaking ceremony on Thursday, August 10. The planned completion date for the project is May 2018.

Wagner has started reconfiguring 60,000 square feet of existing office space into an open environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork. Areas previously occupied by rows of tall-walled, enclosed cubicles are being redesigned with new, open-concept offices featuring ergonomic, adjustable workspaces and furniture. The new state-of-the-art office space includes casual meeting pods with comfortable lounge furniture to encourage conversation and interaction. Throughout the building, the new design will connect employees to the brand by incorporating colors and aesthetics that reflect the values and culture at Wagner SprayTech. Large windows are being installed throughout the building to brighten spaces with natural daylight.

There will be a new full-service cafeteria serving healthy options for breakfast and lunch, an onsite employee fitness center, several additional training rooms, and digital signage throughout. The exterior of the building will reflect Wagner’s leading brands with a bold new entrance and reception area. As part of the remodel, parking areas will also be revamped and moved as necessary.

“We are driven by innovation at Wagner, and our newly designed headquarters will reflect our culture in a very tangible way,” said Greg McGuirk, President, Decorative Finishing, Americas. “Modern workspaces with comfortable, functional spaces are key to attracting and retaining the best talent, and that is a priority for us.”

Based in Minnesota for 44 years, Wagner SprayTech’s Plymouth location at 1770 Fernbrook Lane comprises corporate operations and production for both the Wagner and Titan brands. It is located on 17 acres of land, owned by Wagner SprayTech.

Wagner SprayTech employs approximately 250 people at the Plymouth location, and another 50 at the company’s distribution facility in Otsego, Minn. To support the two brands, Wagner SprayTech is gearing up to add more than 60 positions to its Plymouth location over the next several years. In addition to its Minnesota operations, Wagner SprayTech has one additional North American office in Villa Rica, Georgia.
